SMS Terms and Conditions

THE TALENT COMPANY, LLC. operates an optional SMS messaging program to communicate with employers and candidates who have affirmatively opted in. This program is a MIXED campaign: it includes both customer-care and notification messages and marketing and promotional messages.

Participation is entirely voluntary. SMS is never required to use any of our services, and declining to opt in does not affect your ability to contact us, submit an inquiry, or receive support by email or phone.

Customer-care and notification messages include responses to your inquiries, interview scheduling, appointment reminders, and application or service status updates. These messages are functional and relate to an existing relationship or inquiry you have initiated.

Customer-care messages require their own separate consent. Selecting only the customer-care checkbox does not enroll you in marketing messages.

Marketing and promotional messages include HR webinar invitations, recruiting service announcements, promotional offers, and company updates. These messages are promotional in nature.

Marketing messages are sent only to users who separately consent to marketing SMS. Selecting only the customer-care checkbox does not authorize marketing messages, and we will not automatically send marketing messages to users who selected only customer-care consent.

You opt in to SMS only by selecting the applicable checkbox on our Contact & SMS Consent form and providing your mobile number. Two separate, optional, unchecked consent checkboxes are presented:

Customer-care checkbox: "I consent to receive customer care and notification text messages from THE TALENT COMPANY, LLC., including responses to inquiries, interview scheduling, appointment reminders, and application or service status updates."

Marketing checkbox: "I separately consent to receive marketing and promotional text messages from THE TALENT COMPANY, LLC., including HR webinar invitations, recruiting service announcements, promotional offers, and company updates."

Neither checkbox is ever preselected. Selecting one checkbox does not select or imply consent to the other. Each consent selection is stored separately, alongside the exact consent language presented, the consent category, and the date and time of submission.

We do not accept verbal consent, implied consent, purchased lists, shared leads, or third-party opt-in as valid enrollment methods. The only accepted opt-in method is the affirmative web checkbox described above.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out and stop receiving SMS messages from us at any time. You will receive a single confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent.

Reply HELP to any message for assistance. You may also contact us directly by phone or email using the details at the bottom of this page.

Message frequency varies with the activity on your inquiry or search. You may receive more than one message per week during an active process and fewer when there is no activity.

Message and data rates may apply. Carrier charges are set by your mobile carrier, not by The Talent Company, LLC.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We cannot guarantee the timely delivery of any SMS message, and delivery depends on factors outside our control, including your carrier, your handset, and signal availability.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. Consent is not a condition of employment consideration. You may use our services and submit inquiries without opting in to SMS of any kind.

Our handling of personal information, mobile numbers, and SMS consent records is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

You may withdraw SMS consent at any time by replying STOP to any message.

THE TALENT COMPANY, LLC. does not guarantee employment, interviews, placement, hiring outcomes, compensation, candidate availability, or employer hiring decisions. SMS messages are communications about a process; they are not promises of any result.

We may update these SMS Terms and Conditions from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued participation in the SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Where required, we will obtain fresh consent for any material change to the program.
